Professor Paul Ryan, King's College, Cambridge: Professional Development Workshop: Reviews and Revisions of Working Paper
Aims of the course: Work together to revise and improve working papers with topics in a variety of management areas, such as economics of company training, industrial relations and human resources management.
Workshop structure
- Prerequisite for the workshop
Working paper ready to be submitted to a scholarly journal in the above--‐mentioned fields. - Content Participants have to prepare at least one question on a problem related to their own paper. Problems and suggestions for revisions will be discussed on an individual basis (time slots are allocated after final admission to course).
Target Participants:
Ph.D. students and researchers who are ready to submit a paper to an international journal in their area of expertise or have to prepare a revision of an already submitted paper.
Workshop Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Paul Ryan, Fellow in Economics of King's College, Cambridge.
Application: The number of participants is limited. Applications should include a short CV and a current version of the working--‐paper. Please send your application to Regula Geel (regula.geel@business.uzh.ch) by Friday, September 16th, 2011.
